Viajar a Tanzania

Travelling to Tanzania is synonymous with safari and offers some of the best experiences in nature in the whole of Africa. It is a land of great ecosystems and home to the best naturalparks in the world, where we can see big cats such as lions and leopards, as well as large herds of elephants, hippopotamus and even chimpanzees.A varied landscape dominated in the north by Mount Kilimanjaro, the best known of all African treks. At its foot, the Serengeti National Park, which every year hosts an unparalleled spectacle: the Great Migration, where thousands of herbivores search for fresh pastures as part of an animal caravan that follows the moves in a clockwise direction.Next to it, the Ngorongoro Crater, a huge and extinct volcanic crater, whose characteristics make it look like Noah’s Ark.The Manyara and Tarangire national parks are also part of Tanzania’s natural beauty, as well as the salty landscapes of Lake Natron and the palaeontological sites of Olduvai Gorge and Laetoli (where the oldest human origins of mankind can be found). In the south of the country we can also experience interesting safaris in the national parks of Ruaha, Mikumi or the new one of Nyerere (next to the Selous reserve), palaeontological remains in Iringa and the majesty of Lake Nyassa. The experience is rounded off with a visit to the chimpanzee reserve in Gombe National Park in the west of the country, and the Zanzibar archipelago (with its colonial past, relaxingbeaches and diving centres) in the east, in the middle of the Indian Ocean.Tanzania, finally, is also ethnographically rich. Beyond the well-known Maasai, it is worth experiencing life with the Hadzabe, Datoga, Barabaig and Hehe.
